We all have the ability in this day and age
To actually visualize kingdoms and nations on stage.
Satellites depict every nook & cranny
Examining everything, seemingly quite handily.
Now Satan has no problem ever
Assaulting even Holy places in his endeavor
To assert power in our daily lives -
Especially in what’s televised.
Our lesson comes from Christ’s last temptation,
When Jesus rebuked Satan for this kind of sensation -
The ability to experience voyeurism.
Calling it entertainment, without any cynicism!
We can be placed right into Christ’s shoes (sandals?)
Deciding for ourselves how we absorb surrounding scandals
Whether they be works of fiction or fact
Our choices reveal how we’ll react.
Yes, we can see nations & kingdoms
Right into the intimacy of bedrooms!
But heed Christ’s admonition
“Away from me Satan!” Heed what is written.
“Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only”
Tap into the Father, Son & Holy Spirit jointly.
